Kim Kahan has lived in Japan for nearly a decade. She writes on a variety of topics, from fancy ryokan to Japanese music, connected via the theme of ‘lesser-known Japan,’ often surprising her Japanese friends with things they too didn’t know. She writes and sometimes photographs for publications such as Lonely Planet, Huck Magazine and Japan Times. Her translation clients include Honda and Live Japan.
