Joliene Adams is an Oregon-based adventure writer, essayist, and multilingual advocate whose work has appeared in Adventure.com, Fodor’s, Oregon Humanities, and the National Wildlife Federation (fall 2026). With MAs in Linguistics and in Comparative Literature, she has collaborated with the Northwest Indian Language Institute since 2015. She believes in doing hard shit without losing your sense of humor—and that dogs make the best people.
