Ivan Nathanael Lukanda is a senior lecturer in the department of journalism and communication at Kampala’s Makerere University. A former freelance journalist with Uganda’s Sunday Vision newspaper and the Uganda Radio Network, his broad research area is science communication focusing on food as a form of communication.
