Brent Ritchie is Professor of Tourism Management at the University of Queensland. His research interests are related to tourism risk, crisis and disaster management and he explores how tourism destinations and businesses plan, respond and recover from crises and disasters. He also conducts research to improve the understanding of tourists’ risk perceptions and precautionary behavior.
