The Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Split


Our representative will meet you at the airport. Transfer from Split airport to town Split by minivan, where the guests are welcomed by their guide and local host. Your cycling adventure begins! We start with the essentials: bike fitting and safety review. From here we’ll set off to ride along a quiet coastal road and be treated to our first glimpse of the stunning Adriatic. After a leisurely warm up, we’ll return to town with plenty of time to explore the historic city of Split. Tonight we’ll enjoy a traditional Croatian food at a local restaurant.

Day 2

Split ➔ Brac Island ➔ Split

After breakfast we will cruise to Brač, the largest island in Dalmatia. Our ride starts on the coastal roads alongside olive groves and vineyards. The precious white marble seen here was excavated and used in the building of The White House, Diocletian’s Palace and the Budapest Parliament. After lunch we will visit the Jaksic gallery. The curators pride themselves in keeping the ancient stone cutting tradition alive, while also adding new styles to create unique pieces. Each Jaskic specializes in his/her own craft – Lovre is the master sculptor, Ida, the mother, is the exclusive clothing and jewellery designer, and Dina, the daughter, is the resident painter. After this exclusive experience, we will bike back to Supetar from where we catch the ferry back to Split.

Day 3

Split ➔ Hvar Island

Start the day with an exclusive walking tour of Diocletian’s palace. Built at the turn of the fourth century BC, the castle offers a fascinating glimpse into this era of local history. Following the tour, we’ll set off on a breath taking two-hour ferry ride to Hvar Island. Arriving in Stari Grad, we’ll stop for a quick lunch before we begin our first ride. Cycle through beautiful lavender fields and olive groves, and choose to ride or shuttle back to Hvar Town. Tonight, enjoy dinner at the charming Konoba Zlatna Skoljka.

Day 4

The Hvar Lavender Road

After enjoying a relaxing breakfast, you’ll be gear up to enjoy another stellar ride with unbelieveable views of the seas that suround us. Today’s ride takes us through abandoned villages that historically were prominent producers of the lavender products and oils that were once a tradmark of Hvar Island. Soar down to the Stari Grad plain, a UNESCO World Heritage site and admire the ancient wine producing valley before arriving at the Tomic Wine Cellar. Here you’ll discover the best red wines coming form Hvar, produced and blended in this modern cellar. From here we will transfer back to Hvar town or you can choose to ride the same route back. Tonight our privateboat will take us to the Paklinski Islands, where we will enjoy dinner in one of the most beautiful bays overlooking endless blue sea in a distant horizon. A dinner you will never forget.

Day 5


Today our private boat takes us across blue waters to Korcula, an ancient Greek colony dating back the fourth-century BC. Landing on the west coast in Vela Luka, we’ll bicycle across the island to Korcula Town. Passing through miles of vineyards, we’ll stop to taste the famed local white wines and enjoy a picnic lunch with the Farac family. Here we’ll also sample some of their homemade local products. Arriving at the fortified Venetian village of Korcula Town, the birthplace of Marco Polo, we’ll have the afternoon to relax on one of the Adriatic’s best beaches and explore the pedestrian-only streets. Tonight we’ll meet in Korcula Town for our final dinner.

Day 6

Korcula ➔ Dubrovnik

En route to Dubrovnik we’ll discover some of the secrets of the Pelješac peninsula — home to Croatia’s best-known red wines: Dingač and Postup. Stops along the way include a tasting of fresh oysters and a visit the town of Ston, known for the longest fortified city wall in Europe and ancient salt works. After a brief lunch in Mali Ston, we’ll shuttle to the stonewalls of Dubrovnik, one of the world’s most beautifully preserved medieval cities. Meander through the narrow streets, exploring the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture before bidding farewell to a fantastic week.

The Customer may book the trip organized by ADRIA ADVENTURE by telephone, e-mail or other means of remote communication, or with other authorized agents. By signing the contract.


By paying the first installment and/or by paying part of the package tour containing traveller’s basic data and information on the programme the Traveller is paying for, the Traveller shall accept in its entirety, and confirm that all items of these Terms and Conditions have been understood, there for everything that is written herein shall become legally binding on both the Traveller and the Organiser. Prices are per person in Croatian Kuna. Due to fluctuation in exchange rates, prices published in foreign currencies may not be accurate. When settling final payment, current Euro/USD – Kuna exchange rates will be used. Payment can be made by credit card or bank transfer. No deposit is required for day tours.


Adria Adventure accepts: VISA, MASTER CARD, traveler’s checks, money orders, and cash.


All cancellations must be received at our office in writing and refund will be issued according to the following schedule: Cancellations up to 20 days before the departure will receive full refund. Cancellations from 7-20 days before the departure will receive 50% refund. Cancellations within 7 days before the departure will receive no refund.


In case of unfavorable weather conditions, Adria Adventure reserves the right to alter the itinerary.


The package tour price usually includes (unless the programme reads otherwise) accommodation, breakfast and other meals as stated in the tour/trip programme, transfers, adventurous activities with all appertaining equipment and a guide. The prices of one-day and half-day excursions usually include (unless the programme reads otherwise) transfers, adventurous activities contained in the trip programme (kayak, bicycles, hiking etc.) with all appertaining equipment and a guide. The prices do not include (unless the programme reads otherwise) optional excursions, personal spending and drinks with any aditional meals .


The programs are subject to change depending on group abilities and preferences, weather conditions, water levels, special events of interest and similar. For client’s safety and comfort reasons ADRIA ADVENTURE reserves the right to alternate programme without prior notice. In a case of major changes or cancellations, ADRIA ADVENTURE will advise the Client as soon as possible and provide the following options: a) Client may accept a new departure date or destination offered by ADRIA ADVENTURE b) Client may accept a replacement package/excursion of equivalent or closely similar itinerary c) Client may cancel his/her booking altogether and receive a full refund of the money paid. The Client is obligated to inform ADRIA ADVENTURE by writing of his/her decision within 48 hours of the offer. If the Client does not, ADRIA ADVENTURE will book a replacement package/excursion.


Privat guesthouses Most package tours include accommodation in guesthouse rooms owned by private renters. These are usually rooms with 3* (unless the programme reads otherwise) which provide basic comfort. Private guesthouse are licensed and approved for tourists. Rooms are typically shared, with two people per room. Rooms are simple, comfortable, and clean. The Organiser shall be entitled to make changes to the agreed upon accommodation solely by accommodation of the same or higher category, and exclusively at the Organiser’s own expense. The Organiser shall be entitled to make changes to excursion schedule on a daily basis. If the buyer is not specifically contract a room / apartment with special, he will accept any room / apartment officially registered for the issue and listed in the brochure and price list of the same object. When available, the organizer will try to meet additional demand for accommodation (comfort, room, floor, etc.), But can not guarantee to fulfill requests. Fisherman houses Some of our turs/package include accomodation in fisherman houses.Fisherman houses are licenced and approved for tourists.This houses are tippical tradicional houses which are most common at arhipelagio of National park Kornati.This houses are tradicionali maded from stone(during the winter it keep temperature inside and during the summer they keep warm temperature outside from house).We call them a green house ! This houses are simply maded and usually have no extra and tipical shered space between all participants on tour which provide basic comfort, that is to say a clean, tidy house that is without any luxurious accessories.


The organizer reserves the right to change the prices in case of change of the price of accommodation, food, transport and other services, or in the case of changes in the value of the currencies that are the basis for calculating the price. To increase the package price up to 10% did not require the approval of the customer (the increase is calculated on all parts of the payment). In case of increase greater than 10%, the buyer has the right to terminate the contract without charge in, no later than two days of written notice delivered. Do not cancel the traveler in time, means that he agrees with the new price. He agreed price may not be increased in the period of seven days prior to the start of the tour. The Customer undertakes to accept the price increase of up to 10%.A change of exchange rates in relation to the program publication date,a change of transport costs (fuel, road toll, etc.), a change in fees of hotels or carriers.Adria adventure may inform Customers of the change in writing or verbally.


No previous kayaking experience is necessary for our guided sea kayaking tours. However these outdoor activities require a basic fitness level. Participants are responsible for being in sufficient health and physical fitness to join the trip. They participate at their own risk and will be required to sign a liability case for personal responsibility.


We strongly recommend you to protect yourself with travel and medical insurance.In accordance with the Law on Tourism (“Official Gazette” no. 8/96 – hereinafter referred to as the Act), employees of the agency where the paid arrangement are required to offer the traveler a “package” travel insurance which consists of health insurance during their stay in abroad and luggage insurance, insurance against accidents and travel cancellation insurance. By accepting the contract on organized tours, which make and these terms and conditions, the buyer confirms that he was offered a “package” travel insurance. The travel prices do not include casualty and disease insurance, risk of damage and baggage loss insurance, nor do they include voluntary health insurance. By making the payment for an excursion or a package tour, which are integral to the Terms and Conditions herein, as well as the trip programme, it is deemed that the Traveller(s) has/have thus been advised to take additional health insurances which can be purchased directly at an insurance company of one’s own choice.


Customers must have valid personal travel documents. Invalid documents leading to the cancellation of the travel shall not result in any harmful consequences for ADRIA ADVENTURE, and, if ADRIA ADVENTURE should suffer additional damages due to such an omission by a Customer, the Customer must compensate the damages suffered. If a travel document should be lost or stolen during travel, the costs of issuing new documents shall be borne by the Customer. ADRIA ADVENTURE’s guide will assist the Customer in such a situation, taking care of the normal course of the program thereby. If a certain travel requires a visa, ADRIA ADVENTURE may assist in obtaining such visa at a special additional fee. ADRIA ADVENTURE shall not be held responsible for decisions by customs or police or other state authorities banning passenger’s entry into a particular country.

Please remember to always pack essential items such as your passport, money, eyewear, a change of clothing, hiking boots and medications in your carry-on baggage, in case your luggage is delayed.

Cotton is wonderful in warm weather. However, once it becomes wet from rain, water, or sweat, it will drain your body heat. Always test your layers before a trip. Your outer layer should fit easily over the inside ones without binding and bunching up. Stuff sacks are great for sorting gear. Use different sizes/colors to differentiate contents.

When visiting some churches in Croatia, it is necessary to reasonably cover your arms and legs. Beachwear and tank tops are not appropriate attire; shorts should be of mid-thigh length or longer.

Fill in the booking form at our website. You will receive the invoice for the deposit in the amount of 30% The deposit can be paid by bank wire transfer or by credit card

  • What if I need to cancel my tour?

  • When do I pay the balance for the tour?

The balance for the tour is paid at the spot, when you arrive , by credit card or cash.

  • What are the cancellation fees?
Over 45 days Deposit is refunded
45-22 days 50% of the deposit is refunded
21-day of departure Deposit is not refundable
  • Do you offer group tours or discounts?

For groups of 6 – 9 participants we offer 5% discount
For groups of 10 – 15 participants we offer 10% discount
For groups of 15 – 20 participants we offer 12% discount
For groups of more than 20 participants we offer 15% discount

  • Are the departure dates guaranteed?

Yes. However, in case the number of participants is less than 4 we reserve the right to change the itineraray.

  • Does the luggage need to fit in the kayak?

No. We take care of the transportation on your luggage .

  • Where do I exchange the money?

Local currency in Croatia is Kuna. We recommend changing the money when you arrive, since you get better exchange rate here. You can also get cash at local ATMs. Please note that on the Island Sipan and at National Park Kornati there are no ATMs but on the islands Lopud,Murter and Mljet there is an ATM.
In Zadar,Split and Dubrovnik credit cards are widely accepted but on the islands most of the restaurants do not accept the credit cards.

  • How much money should I bring?

You should look for the flights that arrive to Dubrovnik before 7 pm (July and August – before 7,30 pm)

  • What if my flights arrive later than 7 pm?

The last ferry to the islands Lopud and Sipan is at 8,00 pm (July and August 8,45 pm) . If you do not arrive in time we can arrange the speedboat transfer. The additional cost for speedboat transfer is Euro 50 (it is the rate for 1 – 6 people)

  • What time do we come back from the islands at the end of the tour?

Sunday: the first ferry gets to Dubrovnik at 08,40 am
Thursday: the first ferry gets to Dubrovnik at 07,15 am

  • How long does it take to the airport?

It takes 20 – 30 minutes from the ferry terminal to the airport. Check in closes 45 minutes before the flight. Dubrovnik airport is small however you need to be there at least 1 hour prior to your departure.
If your flight is at 10,45 and later you can easily take the fery and be on time.

  • What if my flight leaves Dubrovnik before 10,45 am?

We can arrange the speedboat transfer at the additional cost of €50 per transfer (1 to 6 people)

  • Should I purchase the travel insurance?

We strongly recommend purchasing of the travel insurance.

  • What time do I need to arrive to Zadar?(for tours which include Kornati National Park,Murter,Zlarin Islands)

You should look for the flights that arrive to Zadar before 4pm.

  • What if my flights arrive later than 4pm?

The last ferry to the island Dugi otok- Sali (National Park Kornati tour/package) at 6,45 pm . If you do not arrive in time we can arrange the speedboat transfer. The additional cost for speedboat transfer is Euro 200 (it is the rate for 1 – 6 people)

  • What time do we come back from the islands at the end of the tour?

Sunday: the first ferry gets from Sali to Zadar at 08,55 am

Thursday: the first ferry gets from Sali to Zadar at 06,25 am

  • How long does it take to the airport?

It takes 20 – 30 minutes from the Zadar ferry terminal to the Zadar airport. Check in closes 45 minutes before the flight. Zadar airport is small however you need to be there at least 1 hour prior to your departure.
If your flight is at 11,00 am and later you can easily take the fery and be on time.

  • What happens if I’m traveling alone? Is there an extra charge?

If you’re planning on traveling alone, (and nearly half of our clients do) and don’t want to pay for a single room, we’ll set you up with a roommate — same sex, of course! However, if you really want your very own room, it is available for an additional charge.It always depends of the tour/destination .At some of our tours we use fisherman houses.It’s based on sharing a all house.(Accomodation at National Park Kornati)

  • What happens when I arrive?

When you arrive our representative will meet you at airport with the sign Adria Adventure/discrover. You will be transferred to the town and you will have some time to explore the city. We will pick you up near the Old Town later and we will take you to the Port/*accomodation, from where you will take the ferry to the island.
We will keep your luggage while you explore the Old Town .

  • How long is the ferry ride?

Dubrovnik – island of Lopud: 45 minutes
Dubrovnik – island of Sipan: 60 minutes

Zadar-Sali(Dugi otok,Kornati National Park): 50 minutes

Boat transfer Sali-Kravljacica bay: 20 minutes

Vodice-Zlarin: 35 minutes
