Climber Tommy Caldwell gave an impassioned TEDx Talk a couple days ago in Kansas City. If his name rings a bell it’s because he and Kevin Jorgesen made history in early 2015 as the first people to ever make a free ascent of The Dawn Wall face of Yosemite’s El Capitan. It was a pretty big deal.
In his TEDx Talk, Tommy gives insight into his process and how he overcomes challenges, rephrasing the word adversity as adventure. And he’s definitely had to deal with some adversity.
