A rare California Spyder are among the massive forgotten classic car collection discovered at a barn in France.
The Collectors’ Car Department at Artcurial, an auction house in France, recently stumbled upon a forgotten gold mine of classic cars that have sat slowly deteriorating over the last 50 years in a French barn of all places. The impressive collection that has the automobile community buzzing belonged to Roger Baillon, a transport entrepreneur and car fanatic (obviously) who loves collecting pre-war and then contemporary sports cars. At one time Baillon’s collection was nearly twice the size of the recent discovery, but due to business failures, he was forced to sell more than 50 of his cars in order to stay afloat financially. Watch the video and enjoy this amazing collection of classic wheels are hopefully will find a new home once they go up on the auction block.
