Three surfers riding the Banzai Pipeline, which is considered to be one of the world’s deadliest waves. Famous for its heavy swells that can reach up to 30 feet, surfers can expect waves to break over shallow, rocky coral reefs at high speeds as they form barreling curls of water. The best time to surf the Pipeline is between November and February. It’s definitely worth a visit even if you’d rather sit back on the sandy beaches of Pupukea, located on the island of Oahu, and watch others attempt to hang ten from high above.
